you might have seen the old grey design in videos or elsewhere.

here's what's changed:

  • perfectly-imperfect handdrawn look

    • with hard straight lines and perfect circles, it’s easy to feel intimidated starting a new plot embryo, and end up trying to write and align everything perfectly.

    • i wanted the new design to be a bit wobbly, hand-scribbled and imperfect to reflect how you’re meant to use it! scribble messily, erase, scribble again. (and if you make a particularly big mess while inking, just print a new one.)

  • the references sheets are out of date, and have been removed

  • new simplified black and white design for clearer printing

  • more room to write your internal quadrants (thesis and anti-thesis)

  • the title bar has been turned into a title box to give more space for PP1 & PP2

  • an alternate blank design to write your own plot point headings if you prefer to use different words
